This series was inspired by the yearly autumnal foliage change of deciduous trees.  This particular series has so many threads in the warp, with so many color changes that it took me over a year just to thread the loom.  The actual weaving of this series is glacially slow as the (thousands of) threads are so fine and prone to abrasion that I can only weave for a short period at a time: any error means I would have to begin the piece all over from the beginning.
