This series evokes the details in a single Macaw feather or pair of Macaw feathers. The details in the woven pattern create the effect of fringed feathers, with subtle color change from top to bottom. In addition, "Beaded Macaw Feathers" also features tiny delicate beads attached by hand to the surface of the weaving, further emphasizing the color change and feather pattern in the weaving.
